Danish Agro a.m.b.a.

Danish Agro a.m.b.a. is a cooperative agribusiness company owned by 8,350 Danish farmers. Established in 1901, the company mainly operates within the sale of feedstuff mixes, ingredients and vitamin mixes, fertiliser, crop protection, seed and energy, plus the purchase of crops from farmers.

We have day-to-day contact with farmers via 60 branches throughout the country and own eight feed factories, three seed facilities and 20 retail outlets trading as Danish Agro Shoppen. The latter offer a wide range of articles for field, barn and gardens and are aimed at rural and urban families.

Danish Agro a.m.b.a. is the parent company of the Danish Agro group, and the formal owner of a total of more than 100 agrobusiness subsidiaries at home and abroad, active in a wide range of industry and product sectors. They all contribute to creating value for agriculture. Danish Agro a.m.b.a. holds the majority shareholding in the majority of its subsidiaries.

The Danish Agro group head offices are located in Karise and Galten, and the group employs around 5,000 people.
