Farm Weather is the name of Danish Agro's weather station and weather data, which is now sold in nine countries. The solution has been very popular among farmers in the group's home markets, where there are now more than 3,000 weather stations installed. The largest sales have so far been achieved in Denmark, followed by Germany, Finland and Sweden. The strategic partnership with the company Cordulus is part of Danish Agro's digital strategy to develop and offer products that create value for farmers. "We are thrilled to have reached this milestone and grateful for the efforts that our colleagues have contributed to the roll-out of the weather stations. The fact that our digital solution is now being sold in all our market areas around the Baltic Sea is a great achievement and shows that the product creates value for the farmer," says Birgitte Feld Mikkelsen, Digital Lead Smart Farming at Danish Agro. Danish Agro's machinery division has also started selling the weather stations. In addition, Cordulus has started to expand into other markets, with a growing presence in the UK in particular. The digital solutions from Danish Agro are under continuous development, and the latest launch this year is a new feature on the app linked to the weather stations called the Harvest Dashboard. The feature can be used to plan the optimal time and location for harvesting and to receive more accurate weather forecasts, helping farmers to minimise drying costs. More than 6,000 users are registered on the app.
